Right now that means a 486-record relational database of the Record Plant Sausalito, three working radios that stream free from the Internet Archive, and the research pipeline behind all of it. Sole operator. No team.

2200 Studios — Record Plant History & Archive

Current · Live

Building a historic site and archive from scratch for the legendary Record Plant studio in Sausalito. The role spans journalistic research and writing, photography, web design, data governance, and quality, all in one. It also includes Record Plant Radio, the streaming player built on the archive. Built mostly on Notion, Claude, and Airtable.

Nine-table relational Airtable archive of 486 historic recordings, spanning broadcasts, sessions, albums, artists, tracks, sources, people, and rights.
Claude-over-MCP pipeline reconciling entries against nine public archives, with logged provenance and audit-tracked cleanup runs.
413 recordings verified to source or primary documents, with 34 flagged for expert review and 37 held as unconfirmed rather than resolved by assumption.
Defined a reusable model for AI-assisted archival reconciliation.

Content Design & Quality — PayPal & Symantec

For nearly two decades, I led content strategy and technical documentation across enterprise and consumer products — PayPal, Symantec, ESRI, Autodesk, and Connectix. The work spanned regulatory content for global compliance teams, real-time transaction UX for Xoom, enterprise security documentation, and task-based technical writing for design software. The throughline: structured, verifiable content that held up at scale and survived contact with real users, real support queues, and real audits.

Built and produced 2200studios.us end to end: site structure, layouts, articles, original photography, and publishing workflow.
Designed a nine-table relational Airtable archive of 486 recordings and a Claude-over-MCP reconciliation workflow across nine public archives.
Built a dated, audit-logged provenance system with a three-tier confidence model, verifying 413 recordings and isolating 34 for expert review.
